About Me!

Hello! I’m so glad you’re here! Here are a few things about me.

I have been painting for over 20 years, starting in high school. I started experimenting with oil paints, drawing perspective, figure drawing, and charcoal drawings. I went to the Academy of Art College in San Francisco and loved my fine art classes. I am very inspired by classical Greek and Roman art. The realistic paintings and sculptures are delightful to me! I strive to attain that level of realism in my work. I love the simplicity found in nature. I am always looking at simple things in the world in a different way, but I stay with the realism of the object. Taking subjects that you see often, like a strawberry for example, and highlighting them and putting them on display to show them off is so fun for me! My favorite subjects to paint are colorful, vibrant, and natural subjects.

I live in St. George, Utah with my husband Dan, and our four wonderful children. I like music, reading, and running in the outdoors.  I am also currently a carnivore!
